Yes, the game is free-to-play!
When we launch the updated version of the game, it will be free-to-play with single player, practice, a couple court locations, a few AI opponents, and time-limited multiplayer access.
The game gives folks a real chance to try the game, enjoy the physics and feel, and get a taste of multiplayer action.

July 14th, 2024 we will launch with a large update and will go free-to-play!
Match Point Tennis has been simmering on the stove for the past 3 years while we worked on Pickleball One. Now that Pickleball One is flying in the main store, we’re focusing on bringing this title to a full version, making it a free to play, and offer some incredible features and content for those that wish to purchase the Pro license (one time purchase).

Nope!
The game is free to play because we believe in giving folks a chance to try the game and have the flexibility to purchase individual DLC items they like, they may do so.However, if players wish to get access to unlimited multiplayer, tournaments, ranked play, additional court locations, nearly 20 rackets, and every future DLC release that we make, they can do so with a single, one-time Pro purchase.

We offer a two options for support depending on your comfort level. Don’t be afraid to reach out, we’d love to hear from you.

We are focusing on Meta Quest (Quest 2, 3, Pro, and their future product releases).
While we have not ruled out expanding the game into other platforms in the future, it is not currently on our roadmap.

The DLC or Pro rackets and balls do not impart different advantages and are strictly cosmetic.
As a development team, we strongly believe in letting players’ skills be the arbiter of their rank. Rackets, balls, and any other DLC content does not confer an advantage on the player. But they look REAL nice. ;)

Yes! At launch we will support the following grip adapters:
Virtual Printality (Quest 2, 3)
Solid Slime (Quest 2, 3 [v1 and v2])

Custom Offset (use any grip adapter you like and set the offset with the aid of Passthrough mode. You could use anything.
